Cynthia Williams, formerly with Girls Inc. of Orange County, Calif., is a finalist for the director's position in ISU's Program for Women in Science and Engineering. The open forum interview includes a public presentation on: PWSE stemming the shortage of STEM graduates and gender and diversity in STEM.

16th Annual Lavender Graduation Ceremony
Lavender Graduation is one of the many special traditions LGBTA students, faculty, and staff have created for themselves at Iowa State. Each year, graduating members of the Iowa State lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and ally communities are recognized during this special event. Over the past fourteen years, over 160 graduates have been honored.
