CyServe Day
CyServe Council is sponsoring a community service day open to all students. Service projects include sorting items for Goodwill, maintenance for ACCESS, assisting with preparations for Relay for Life, conducting a food drive, interacting with seniors and various cleaning projects across campus. Carver Hall will serve as the main check-in location for all projects.
Tour: Behind the Scenes at Reiman Gardens
Topic to be determined. This program is perfect for volunteers! Join staff each month for an interactive, behind the scenes look at Reiman Gardens. Each month's topic features a mini-tour, interesting facts, and the chance to see many things not typically open to the public. Come each month to learn more about Reiman Gardens and its many plants and butterflies.

Will Emley, operations manager at the Agricultural Engineering/Agronomy Research Farm, located between Ames and Boone, is retiring after 31 years of service to Iowa State.

Can Online Map Games Predict the Future? From Chess to Multi-Agent Spatial Modeling and Simulation
Ola Ahlqvist, associate professor of geography at Ohio State University, will introduce five broad themes in the convergence of mapping and gaming technologies: spatial analysis, Web 2.0, virtual worlds, geodesign and cyberlearning. He argues for a broad exploration of gaming approaches to geodesign and planning. Part of the Contemporary Issues in Planning and Design Lecture Series.
Beginning Belly Dance
A Three Pillars Delsarte based approach to Middle Eastern Belly Dance in the style of award winning performer Shiara. This class teaches the basic movements of belly dance with a specific focus and detailed exploration each week. Walk-ins welcome!
Woodshop Orientation Class
For the beginner who wants to learn the fundamentals of woodworking equipment. Proper usage of the machinery will be covered, as well as woodshop safety. This class is required in order to use the woodshop on your own.
Intermediate Belly Dance
Continue your Belly Dance addiction with Shiara with A Three Pillars Delsarte based approach to Middle Eastern Belly Dance in the style of award winning performer Shiara. The focus this semester will be on steps, combinations, layers, personal expression and style. This is an intermediate level class. Walk-ins welcome!
