Reiman Gardens Free Admission Day
It's important to make the beauty and educational value of Reiman Gardens as available as possible to all. On the second Wednesday of every month, all guests may visit Reiman Gardens free of charge. The Gardens will still maintain its standard hours.
Faculty Development Workshop: Branding for Early-Career Faculty
The focus is on creating your brand as an early-career faculty member. Participants will learn how to leverage departmental websites and social media tools to create a unique academic brand.
Symposium: Research Safety
This event is a primer for research faculty, graduate students and post docs in areas related to general safety; fire, laboratory, biological and radiation safety; and hazardous materials management. Preregistration is free but required.
Caramel apple fundraiser
A fundraiser for the United Way of Story County. Apples are sliced with caramel sauce and toppings (nuts, mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, shredded coconut, toffee bits or graham crackers).
Pizza lunch fundraiser
A United Way fundraising event for the departments of entomology and natural resource ecology and management.

Art Walk - The Elements of Norie Sato
Artist Norie Sato has now designed and installed three remarkable and transformative projects for the Art on Campus Collection. Her exceptional artistic skills have been a definitive part of the aesthetic of first the Palmer Building, followed by Hach Hall, and now Marston Hall, the reborn home of The College of Engineering. Meet in the Palmer Building by "One, Now, All".

This practice will enrich your yoga experience by going beyond the physical and inviting an artistic perspective to your awareness. This month we will focus on words, how we use them and interpret them. Please arrive early for a discussion on the month's topic beginning at 5:15. The practice will begin at 5:30. No yoga experience is necessary, but please bring your own mat.
Her Story Screening
This screening will explore how domestic violence impacts trans women. A discussion will follow the screening.
