A class for those comfortable with the basics of throwing on the potter's wheel and are now wanting to learn how to extend their abilities by throwing larger and/or more complex forms.

Learn the basics of using thrown sections and the coil-and-throw method to make larger forms on the potter's wheel. There may also be opportunities to explore making more complex forms such as lidded forms and teapots.
Participants should be able to center and make cylinders with 3-5 lbs. of clay as a prerequisite for this class.
Meets Thursdays for 4 weeks.
