Steven Walkley, DVM, Ph.D., Einstein College of Medicine, New York, will present "The Art of Soluble Cyclodextrin and Niemann-Pick Type C Disease." He will discuss Niemann-Pick type C, a fatal cholesterol-glycosphingolipid lysosomal storage disorder of children.

The Ramsey Lecture Series is named for Dr. Frank Ramsey (1910-1992), a former head of the department of veterinary pathology, who established an endowment in the college. The series is intended to bring accomplished and leading animal and human health researchers to campus to share their work and experiences with faculty, staff and students.

A research poster session will precede the seminar at 11:15 a.m. in the west (fish tank) lobby.
