"Successful Aging: Exploring our 'Blue Zone,'" Jennifer Margrett.

Social at 2:30 pm, program at 3:00 pm. What is the difference between aging and successful aging? What predicts living to very old age? How can we live to our maximum potential? The phenomenon of global aging relfects a synergy between individual development, family relations, society, and policies. During this session we will explore topics related to successful aging and exceptional longevity and how the "Blue Zones" perspective (Buettner, 2008) may inform us as we develop and age in Iowa.
