"Cardiovascular Disease Risk in Public Safety Personnel: Is It the Job or the Doughnuts?" Warren Franke, professor of kinesiology and director of The Exercise Clinic at ISU.

Franke will discuss his research on how environmental factors may increase the chance for cardiovascular disease and other chronic health issues in law enforcement officers.

The Rossmann Manatt Faculty Development Award is made available to tenured faculty in the colleges of Human Sciences and Agriculture and Life Sciences who demonstrate an exceptional level of creative and productivity in scholarship, teaching and service, and who show great promise for continuing such achievement.
