The recently developed two hadrons scattering formalism allows one to describe the pion-nucleus diffractive process. In this description the W-transformation plays a key role, since it enables one to connect the hadron states written for different renormalization group parameters.

In this presentation, I will show the suggestion of the pion wave function in the constituent regime. As a result of the usage of the new scattering formalism, the suggested pion wave function reproduces very well the results of the E791 experiment, which measured the transverse and the longitudinal momentum distribution of two jets emerging from scattering of the pion beam on the platinum target.
