Workshop: Supporting Student-Centered Learning Through Open Pedagogy
Participants will leave this workshop with successful models for scaffolding student engagement and implementing open pedagogy assignments in the classroom, along with additional resources to learn more.
Candidate forum: VP for ISU Extension and Outreach
Candidates names will be made public one business day before their visit. Each will meet with faculty and staff, visit a county extension office, and hold an open forum on the first day of their visit. Open forums will be live streamed for staff in the County offices; links will be made available with the announcement of each candidate. The sessions also will be recorded and made available after all the finalist visits are completed.

Celebrating Romeo Oriogun: Winner of the Nigerian Prize for Literature
Romeo Oriogun is a current postdoc fellow in Iowa State University's Creative Writing and Environment program. He is this year's recipient of the NLNG Nigerian Prize for Literature for his poetry collection Nomad. At this event, we will be celebrating his accomplishments with a reading from Romeo himself, followed by time to meet and mingle.
Cities and Storms: Challenges and Solutions
Jennifer Cherrier is a professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Brooklyn College-The City University of New York. She is also the president and founder of Waterway Ecologics. Her 25+ years of research expertise are in aquatic carbon and nitrogen biogeochemistry with a more recent focus on water resource sustainability.

Opening Ceremony: Jack Trice 100-Year Commemoration
This public program will feature the dedication of Breaking Barriers, an interactive public art installation by artist Ivan Toth Depeña. The ceremony will be livestreamed.
Homecoming: Pep Rally and Celebration
Giveaways, entertainment, homecoming activities and family fun. Food for purchase and a cash bar will be available while supplies last. The pep rally will include the Cardinal Court honorees, Yell Like Hell finals and performances by the marching band and spirit squad. Merchandise from the ISU Bookstore will be available for purchase.

Paint and Take Holiday Ornaments
Get in the holiday spirit by painting ornaments with us! There are over 20 designs to choose from - our favorites include a camper for the outdoorsy, the cactus for the plant hoarder, and ugly sweaters for party people. Paint them with acrylics so you can take them home with you that day.
Cyclone Central Tailgate
Cyclones everywhere are invited to celebrate at the Alumni Center before every home football game. Enjoy giveaways, fun and games, shopping, food and drink, and entertainment for all ages. Doors open three hours prior to kick-off and end 30 minutes prior to kickoff. Catered meal available for an additional charge.
Paint Your Own Pottery
Give Back Week Bring in non-perishable food in exchange for $5 off pottery painting. Donations will be delivered to The SHOP (Students Helping our Peers), a student-run, on-campus food pantry. They aim to engage with anti-hunger, advocate, and serve the student population by increasing hunger awareness and food security. Information about SHOP and how to get involved will be available.

Recent research completed at the Museums of Modern Art and the Smithsonian Institution's Archives for American Art shed new light on Petersen's sculpture.

STOMP appeals to audiences of all ages. The international percussion sensation has garnered an armful of awards and rave reviews and has appeared on numerous national television shows. The eight-member troupe uses everything but conventional percussion instruments - such as matchboxes, wooden poles, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters and hubcaps - to fill the stage with magnificent rhythms.
