Simon Tam is an Asian American author, musician, activist and motivational speaker. He is best known as the bassist and founder of the Asian American dance-rock band, The Slants, who won their case against the government at the United States Supreme Court. Limited space available. Wearables Design Show
First-year students in the Design Studies 102 studio will investigate how their work can interact with and be designed for the human body and explore materials and fabrication processes, kinetic behavior and more. They will showcase their wearables in a runway-style show with DJ, judges and awards. Attendees can interact with the models and their wearables after the show.
