Lecture: Diversity, Leadership, Donald Trump, and the Future of America
"Stay Woke: Diversity, Leadership, Donald Trump, and the Future of America," Kevin Powell, activist and book author. He also has written for the Huffington Post, British GQ and Vibe Magazine. In a world where violence, fear, division and hate have become the norm, Kevin offers hope and a new and different way to view ourselves, to view each other. Powell will sign copies of his book prior to the lecture (7 p.m.).

Concert: Ella Mai and Bazzi
R&B artist Ella Mai and pop/R&B artist Bazzi will co-headline the Student Union Board's annual spring outdoor concert. The event will occur rain or shine.

Arbor Day Celebration
A bur oak tree will be planted in memory of professor emeritus Paul Wray. A forestry extension faculty member, Wray planted (and taught others how to plant) countless trees across Iowa and often promoted oak species. Professor emeritus Steve Jungst will speak about Wray's service during a short program. Xi Sigma Pi and Forestry Club students; faculty and staff; and family and friends of Wray will assist with the planting.

Bad Bad Hats w/ The Host Country
Bad Bad Hats is an indie rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. The band consists of Kerry Alexander, Chris Hoge, and Connor Davison. Named for a trouble-making character from the Madeline children's books, Bad Bad Hats is defined by a balance of sweet and sour. Their music honors classic pop songwriting, with nods to nineties rock simplicity and pop-punk frivolity.

Science Fair
A science fair for students in grades 1-5, hosted by the ISU student chapter of the American Meteorological Society. Projects or posters can include any scientific topic, not just meteorology. Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third places in two age categories.

Walk-in Argentine Tango
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4-5pm, moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for better dancing. From 5-7pm, the floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie Williams, and for working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.
