Graduate College: last day for final submission of graduate student graduation approval form.
Kids' Story Time
Each session features a theme with two or three books read aloud followed by a related craft or activity. The books, crafts and activities are intended for children ages two to seven years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult. This class is held every other Tuesday from May 12 through August 18.
cyBUY Vendor Fair
About two dozen cyBUY vendors will participate, to answer questions, explain the options presented in the cyBUY catalog, and showcase new products. All employees are welcome.
Ames Community Arts Council Gathering of Artists
Calling all Ames area artists! Musicians, actors, makers, writers, dancers...all are invited to meet others, get feedback, share ideas, get inspired and most of all, have fun! We are hosting the July meeting brought to you by the Ames Community Arts Council. We will start in The Workspace and move up to the Gallery and Pioneer Room to see the current exhibits on display.

Paint Your Own Pottery: Cyclone Spirit
"Painting" bisque is a fun and relaxing activity that can be done solo or with a group of friends. Cardinal and gold paint will be flowing! Studio fee is $4 for ISU and $5 for public to attend plus the cost of the bisque you select.
Intro to Social Dance Class
This is a 6 week course on Thursdays beginning June 25, July 2, July 9, July 16, July 23, and July 30 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. In this 6-week course, you'll learn a variety of social dances in a beautiful garden setting, from one of the best instructors Ames has to offer! No experience necessary.

Botanical Zendoodle Workshop
Join artist and instructor Sara Merritt for a workshop exploring this meditative art form, with particular emphasis on botanical shapes and designs.
College Creek cleanup
Small groups of volunteers will walk through designated sections of the creek along the banks and pick up trash. No time limit is required; all help is appreciated. Volunteers should register in advance and check in at the Forker Building parking lot.

Argentine Tango
This Milonga is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4-5pm moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for dancing better. From 5-7pm the dance floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie and working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time. Wear dancing shoes, smooth-soled shoes, or socks.
