Join us outdoors weekly for our popular Early Childhood Development program featuring stories followed by nature exploration and activities. Best for children ages 2-5 with an adult.

Native Bees Talk & Tour
You might bee surprised by what you learn from this program and tour! ;) Iowa has at least 300 species of native bees, nesting in places like plants, wood, and the ground under our feet. When their populations are healthy, biodiversity and food for wildlife increases, not to mention all the food crops that survive by bee pollination for us humans!

Drop in Craft: Cottagecore Mushrooms
Once upon a time, when the world moved at a slower pace, it was easier to observe the beauty in nature and the joy in single-tasking. Find your cottagecore vibe while painting a trio of small wooden mushrooms that can be attached to a wood slice with a little moss. Paint Your Own Pottery: Summertime Snack Bowls
July 5-8 Paint a bowl for your ice cream, potato chips, favorite candy, or a late-night snack. When you pick up your bowl after firing, we will throw in a bag of microwave popcorn for your next movie night.
