Open house: Prospective Design students
The open house will include sessions with current students, department chairs and career services staff, a facilities tour, an interior design exhibition reception and opportunities to test our new website.
Redensification Rediscovered: Berlin Summer Academy 2015 Exhibition Reception
Award-winning work by ISU architecture students who participated in the five-week Berlin Summer Academy study-abroad program this past summer will be on display in the College of Design's Lyle E. Lightfoot Forum Nov. 16-20. Meet the students, view the work and enjoy refreshments at the opening reception. Program leader Ulrike Passe and architecture department chair Deborah Hauptmann will give a brief welcome and remarks.

Public forum: Strategic plan
Faculty, staff and students are invited to share their thoughts with those developing ISU's next strategic plan. Plan developers will be looking for ways to ensure a successful student experience, enhance ISU's research profile, support economic development, promote a welcoming and safe environment and improve the campus infrastructure.

Meeting: Summer undergraduate research
Learn about the National Science Foundation's Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program and other summer research opportunities at ISU and elsewhere. A panel of faculty and students who have directed or participated in research programs will talk about finding programs, application processes and experiences the programs offer. Most opportunities are in STEM disciplines and require applicants to be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
