Workshop: ISU ADVANCE
"Pathways to Promotions from Associate to Full." Dr. Annette O'Connor, associate professor in the department of veterinary diagnostic and production animal medicine and 2009-10 ISU ADVANCE faculty fellow, will share the results of her research on the roles of scholarship and service in faculty promotion at Iowa State. Faculty who may prepare dossiers for promotion to full professor especially are encouraged to attend.
Open forum: LAS dean search
Executive vice president and provost Elizabeth Hoffman, along with search committee co-chairs Jonathan Wickert and David Holger, will host two open forums to discuss search committee membership, the search process and attributes to be sought in the next dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Public Forum on NCAA Certification
The public is invited to hear about the self-study of the university athletics program and offer comments. The study is part of the NCAA Division I certification process; athletics programs must be re-certified every 10 years.
