Open house: The SHOP (Students Helping Our Peers)
SHOP is a campus food pantry, launched by students for students, and opening Feb. 1 in 2616 Food Sciences. It was developed this fall by a committee of the Transfer and Major Change Learning Community in the food science and human nutrition department. Bring four cans of food to the open house and receive a free T-shirt.

Workshop: Writing successful grant applications to the Iowa Arts Council
Program officers from the Iowa Arts Council will talk about the various funding opportunities available through this state-funded organization. Registration is required. A light lunch and beverages will be provided.
