Petersen's "Panthers"
For a decade, University Museums searched for a pair of larger than life-sized bronze panthers created by Christian Petersen for a Rhode Island estate in the early 1920s. In the summer of 2010, the Panthers were found at Middlebury College in Vermont, and during VEISHEA 2012 they will become a permanent part of ISU's Art on Campus Collection.

Tuesday Tea at the Farm House Museum
Come to the Farm House Museum to enjoy tea and conversation about all things Farm House. Mark your calendar from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm the first Tuesday of every month (Feb. - May) and enjoy the 150 year old structure in a whole new way. Check the University Museums website to learn what the discussion topic will be. Can't make it at noon? The Farm House will be serving tea from 12 to 4 pm so stop in any time.
Fearless Symmetry
Deb Marquart, professor in English, Paul Canfield, professor in Physics and Astronomy, and Ingrid Lilligren, professor in Art and Design, discuss ideas about chance, magnetism, pattern, and repetition in poetry, physics and art. The conversation will be spontaneous, playful, and participatory.

Echoes and Conversations with Norie Sato
Join acclaimed public artist Norie Sato as she discusses the contexts, importance of site, and the site's function in her public art installations. Sato has completed two public art projects at Iowa State - "e+l+e+m+e+n+t+a+l" (2010-11) at Hach Hall and "One, Now, All" (2000) for the Palmer Building.
Grandma Mojo's Moonshine Revival
Grandma Mojo's Moonshine Revival is Iowa State University's award-winning student sketch and improv group. For only $1 on select Wednesday evenings, the Mojo's crew will provide a night of laughter, passion, drama, action and more laughter!

A public reception will be Thursday, April 5 at 6pm. Grant recipients will be recognized and award winners from the juried exhibit will be announced. The reception is free and open to the public.

Movement, Music and Art
Valerie Williams, director of Co'Motion Dance Company and Ingrid Lilligren, professor in Art and Design, present an afternoon of human and computer interactions. Using the music of Antonin Dvorak and art work created by Lilligren, participants will be able to interact with forms and sound by simply walking.
