Brunnier in Bloom
Celebrate spring and the current exhibitions during Brunnier in Bloom, the Museum's annual pairing of beautiful art and fabulous flowers. This event showcases the talents of central Iowa floral designers and garden clubs as they are challenged to create arrangements inspired by works of art in the Museum's collection.
Miniature Book Making Class
Using recycled papers and fabrics, we will play with traditional methods of bookbinding to create miniature handmade books.
Argentine Tango Practica (Class)
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4-5pm moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for dancing better. From 5-7pm the dance floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie and working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time. Craft of the Month: Felt Circles
Using inspiration from Kandinsky's color studies, make a wall piece using circles of layered felt. Quick and easy hand stitching will give the felt dimension and texture before it is glued to a panel. Impress your friends with a 12" x 12" master study displayed in your space.

VISIONS Across America Exhibition Reception
The ISU Alumni Association and University Museums invite you to celebrate the opening of the exhibition "VISIONS Across America: Portraits of ISU Alumni by Jim Heemstra" which captures portraits of ISU alumni from all 50 states whose portraits show the stunning diversity, strength, and character of Iowa State University alumni.

Familiar fairy tale characters learn the hard way that the "Happily Ever After" they sought isn't necessarily the end of story. For example, Cinderella begins to wonder if her prince is only charming, but not really sincere and almost everyone will face a frightening giant in the woods.
