Concert: Harold Lopez-Nussa
As a scion of an illustrious musical family, 31-year-old Cuban pianist Harold Lopez-Nussa is one of the brightest lights on Havana's thriving jazz scene. He gained international attention when he won top honors at the prestigious Montreux Jazz Piano Competition in 2005 and his albums and work since reveal a composer who has fully integrated his classical training and love of the jazz continuum with his Cuban roots.
Project Runway
Themed garments created by student teams on Sept. 21 will be modeled and judged at this 10th annual event. Doors open at 8:30 p.m.

Learn how your own movement patterns may be limiting the expressive use of your entire body.
Delsarte: Dynamic Poses for the Camera Workshop
Explore Delsarte's ninefold accords of the face and positions of the legs. See how harmonic opposition in the body creates dynamic poses for the camera. Visual artists will discover that these tools can help them draw out the desired response from their subjects, while dancers, actors and models gain valuable insight to showcase their best for the camera. Please bring a hand mirror to class.

Delsarte: The Laws of Expressive Motion Workshop
Delsarte studied principles of motion and dynamic physical expression as thoroughly as he had studied meaning in the body itself. Learn the principles of physics behind Delsate's Nine Laws of Gesture including altitude, force, motion, sequence, direction, form, reaction, velocity, and extension. These principles can empower your own communication, as well as enrich your work in music, dance, theater and any other depiction of movement art.
Delsarte: Creating a Character for Stage Workshop
This class will begin with a thorough Delsarte warm-up intended to awaken the body and its relationship to internal emotion, thought and impulse. As time allows, students may share a piece they are currently working on (dance, song, drawing, poem, scene, etc.) and Joe will explore the concept of developing a character for stage or presentation.

Each year well over 300 students take part in the ISU Collage of Choirs. Participants represent nearly all academic disciplines and majors.
Argentine Tango Practica (Class)
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. Knitting Class
Learn the basics of knitting: cast-on, knit, purl, bind-off, rib stitch, increase and decrease techniques, pattern reading, gauge swatching, and picking up dropped stitches. Bring a pair of #7 or #8 single-point needles. Yarn will be provided.
Belly Dance Lessons
Learn basic belly dance movements and how to perform them in a variety of different ways by making specific choices about size and speed of motion. One or two moves will be explored each week and then put into short practice phrases.
Intermediate Belly Dance Lessons: Travel Steps and Finger Cymbals
Music is the art of combining sound to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion. Dance is music made visible. In this class, we'll continue to fuel our belly dance adDICTION by exploring inflection, timing and punctuation to create sentences and paragraphs that communicate something very specific with an audience. Manufacturing Day Movie Night

Paint Your Own Pottery: Bubble Painting
Join us on Fridays evenings for a fun exploration of techniques in "painting" bisque. This technique is sort of like blowing bubbles when you were a kid, but we do it with a straw and paint. The popped bubbles show up and make interesting patterns on the finished pieces.
Performance: Spring Awakening
This play set in 19th century Germany tells the story of teenagers discovering their sexuality in a repressive society. Mature themes, sexual situations, and explicit language.
