Tuesday Tea
Come to the Farm House Museum to enjoy tea and conversation about all things Farm House. Mark your calendar from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm Tuesdays this month and enjoy the 150 year old structure in a whole new way. Check the University Museums website to learn what the discussion topic will be. Can't make it at noon? The Farm House will be serving tea from 12 to 4 pm on Tuesdays so stop in any time.

ISU Theatre production of "The Miracle Worker"
An illness leaves a very young child named Helen Keller blind and deaf, and consequently mute. By the age of six, she seems to be completely unreachable and her family is losing hope. Then her parents hire Anne Sullivan as a teacher for their daughter, and Anne must discover some way to do the one thing a teacher must--communicate The result is a profoundly moving piece of theatre.

Story Time with Derek Anderson
Award-winning author/illustrator and ISU College of Design alumnus Derek Anderson will introduce his new children's picture book, "Story County: Here We Come!" He will speak about how growing up in the real Story County helped shape the tale of a farmer and his animal friends, read the book, and share a drawing lesson. The event is sponsored by the University Book Store.

In 1940, the John Morrell & Company of Ottumwa, Iowa released a calendar illustrated by N.C. Wyeth. The calendar depicts the top twelve historical events or influential people that helped shape America as determined by Wyeth. Join art historian Lea Rosson DeLong as she discusses Wyeth's choices and how art can influence perceptions of history.

The University Museums Christian Petersen Art Collection has 85 percent of the art created by the artist, but at any given time only 3 to 5 percent of the collection is on exhibition.
