Drawing Class
Take this opportunity to learn and develop drawing skills, whether you are a beginner who likes to doodle or an artist with experience. Students will be guided through a variety of exercises to enhance your drawing technique including: line, perspective, light and shadow, and composition, while developing hand-eye coordination and confidence.

ClubFest
ClubFest is an opportunity for students to browse through 200+ of the over 800 clubs and organizations to find out how to get involved on campus. Although there are over 800 clubs and orgs on campus, a large sample will have booths with informational hand-outs and giveaways to highlight their club and recruit new members.
Photography Class: Light Painting
Learn how to paint photos with various light sources and capture the images in your camera. Join Mark Stoltenberg for a 4-week class exploring this unique photographic technique that dates back to 1889. Emphasis will be on proper technique, the right tools, and learning how to identify and capture the best subjects.

Screenprinting Class
Learn an inexpensive way to create custom t-shirts. Using your own design, learn to make a screen with the photographic emulsion method. Bring in your shirts and print away! This class is required in order to use our screenprinting equipment.

Smashed Button Necklace Class
Upcycle vintage buttons and maybe get a little aggression out at the same time! Students will hammer metal buttons into new forms. Add texture and patina and get a collection of beautifully imperfect charms. Stack for depth, rivet together, and add them onto a chain for swanky necklace.

Hammer copper tubing into hoop earrings, and experiment with patina techniques for varied finishes. Add silver ear wires and leave class with three new pairs of earrings to add to your jewelry box.

Lenny Cooper's fans are often the hillbilly mud-bogging crowd, who like their country mixed in with some urban beats and a little bit of rap. A self-described accidental artist, Cooper wrote the song "Mud Digger," about his favorite pastime, when he was 17 and posted a video of it on YouTube. The song began to rack up views, and attracted the notice of Colt Ford, who signed Cooper to his Average Joe's label.

Digital Camera Basics Class
Long shots and short shots: everyone wants to take a good photograph. Learn the basics of using your Digital SLR camera including settings, speeds, lighting and composition. Students will explore campus to use their new skills shooting photographs of their favorite sites and share those photographs to discuss technique, composition and design.
