Walk-in Argentine Tango
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4-5pm, moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for dancing better. From 5-7pm, the dance floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie and working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.

Workshop: Sustaining Academic Pipeline
Workshop Two: "Promotion and Tenure: Recruitment and Retention of Faculty of Color." Speakers at the event will include: Jonathan Wickert, senior vice president and provost; and Gong-Soog Hong, professor in human development and family studies. All are welcome to attend this five-part workshop series.

The ISU chapter of the NAACP will address the Oct. 27 posting of posters on campus containing white heritage messages. A community discussion will follow. All are welcome.
Lecture: Author Margaret Atwood
"Which Future? Fiction and the Everything Change," Margaret Atwood is an author, poet and environmental activist whose more than forty books include "The Handmaid's Tale," "The Blind Assassin," and the MaddAddam trilogy featuring "Oryx and Crake."

Pluralities, Publics, and Citizen Science panel
