The 2022 film TikTok Boom is a documentary that explores the ways in which members of ethnic minorities have been affected, and often marginalized, by this social media phenomenon. Novotny Lawrence focuses his research on film studies, blaxploitation cinema, race, media, and popular culture. He has a joint appointment between the Greenlee School of Journalism and the English Department. Free snacks will be provided.
