Glass Beads: Decorative Finishes Class
Add some pizzazz to your glass beads with surface decorations! Experiment with etching, pixie dust, and baking soda to produce a variety of looks including pearl finishes and beach glass looks.
Miniature Book Making
Using recycled papers and fabrics, we will play with traditional methods of bookbinding to create miniature handmade books. Typically smaller than 6 inches, these mini treasures can be used as pocket sketchbooks, tiny scrapbooks, haiku poetry journals, hidden diaries, or even tomes for gnomes. Leave class with the skllls to make larger books on your own.
Argentine Tango Class
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4-5pm moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for dancing better. Craft of the Month: Photo Transfers
Bring in a photocopy of your favorite 5" x 7" photo and transfer that image onto a canvas. Make it look modern with white borders, or give it a vintage look with some paint and scuffing.
