Brunnier in Bloom
Celebrate spring and the current exhibitions during Brunnier in Bloom, the Museum's annual pairing of beautiful art and fabulous flowers. This event showcases the talents of floral designers as they are challenged to create arrangements inspired by works of art on exhibition in the Brunnier Art Museum. Visitors will be able to cast their vote for the People's Choice award and participate in a silent auction and raffle for prizes.

Walk-in Argentine Tango
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4-5pm, moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for dancing better. From 5-7pm, the dance floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie and working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.
Cyclone Cinema: Why Him?

ADVANCE Workshop: Diversity and Inclusion
Presented by the Cornell Interactive Theatre Ensemble. Interactive theatre and facilitated dialogue from multiple points of view create a climate that builds inclusion, fosters collaboration and gives participants knowledge and tools to take back to their own work environments.
Candidate Presentation: Landscape Architecture Chair Finalist Nnamdi Elleh
Nnamdi Elleh is a finalist for the position of chair of the ISU Department of Landscape Architecture. He currently is a professor of architecture, history and theory at the University of Cincinnati. He will give a public presentation followed by a question-and-answer period.

Art + Issues - Building a Campus Community
Art + Issues is an open campus discussion facilitated by our educator of visual literacy and learning. Topics that relate to current events will be presented and attendees are encouraged to bring other discussion topics with them with a goal of generating understanding in a safe, inclusive, and inspiring space. People are invited to come and go during the two hour time frame as their schedule permits.
Exhibit opening: Iowa History 101
The State Historical Museum of Iowa's mobile museum (a 38-foot, custom-built Winnebago) will be parked outside Parks Library on March 27 (3-5 p.m.) and March 28-31 (8 a.m.-5 p.m.). Faculty, staff and students are welcome to take free tours of the exhibition "Iowa History 101," which features about 50 artifacts from the State Historical Society's collection.
Retirement reception: Lois Wright Morton
Lois Wright Morton, professor in sociology, is retiring after 18 years of service. A short program will begin at 5:15 p.m.
Film & Discussion: Sexual Assault Awareness Month
Filmmaker Vanessa McNeal, a graduate of Iowa State, premiers her documentary "The Voiceless," which features the stories of five men and their experiences as victims of sexual violence.

Tribute: Former dean of students Pamela Anthony
Pamela Anthony, who served as dean from 2012 to 2016, died Jan. 17 in Dallas, where she was vice president for student affairs at Southern Methodist University. The program includes music, a video presentation and remarks from coworkers, students and friends, immediately followed by a reception. Panel Discussion: The Leopold Center at 30 and Beyond
Shivvers Memorial Lecture - Three former Iowa legislators involved in the passage of the landmark Iowa Groundwater Protection Act of 1987, which created the Leopold Center, will discuss their original vision for the center, its accomplishments and challenges, and the role it can play in Iowa agriculture in the 21st century. Participants include David Osterberg, Ralph Rosenberg, and Paul Johnson.

Faces of Iowa State LIVE Portrait Painting - Warren Kuhn
University Museums, Iowa State University, is pleased to announce the live painting of 16 portraits by celebrated Iowa artist Rose Frantzen. The portrait painting sessions will take place during a March 29 through April 6, 2017 residency in the lower gallery of the Christian Petersen Art Museum, 0003 Morrill Hall, on central campus. All portrait sessions will be open to the public to watch Frantzen's artistic process evolve.

Getting Started with Arduino, Raspberry Pi and Makey Makey
This workshop introduces the basics, pros, and cons of Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and Makey Makey, three microcontrollers which allow interactions between computers and the physical world.
