Public Forum: TIER review
Iowa State will host a public forum to provide information about phase one of the state Board of Regents' comprehensive efficiency review of Iowa's three public universities. President Steven Leath, board members and representatives from the Deloitte consulting firm will be available to answer questions.
Discussion: U.S. Export Control Regulations
"Understanding the Basics of U.S. Export Control Regulations: Staying Compliant in a University Setting." This discussion will cover information such as what export controls are, the situations which would require export control review, and real-world examples of violations from universities and employees. Intermediate Photography Class

Building on concepts from Beginner Photography with practical application and further exploration of the tools, mechanics, and process, take creative control of your photographs. Emphasis will be on improving familiarity with manual control of aperture, shutter, lighting and flash. You will need to bring your DSLR camera and a sturdy tripod to class.

College Creek cleanup
Small groups of volunteers will walk through designated sections of the creek along the banks and pick up trash. No time limit is required; all help is appreciated. Volunteers should register in advance and check in at the Forker Building parking lot.

Great Plants for Iowa Series: Perennials for Sun
This series will allow participants to develop knowledge of the wide variety of garden plants that grow well in Central Iowa. Covering nearly 500 plants, these 16 classes are spread across several years. Each class focuses on identification, cultural requirements, and the use of the plants in gardens and the broader landscape.

Kids Story Time
