Job Fair: College of Agriculture and Life Sciences
An anticipated 110 organizations will attend to recruit students. The fair is open to the public. This event was postponed from Feb. 3.
Youth Program: Caterpillar Club
Each gathering features a theme as we read aloud books, and wrap up with related cooperative activities and crafts great for groups and individuals alike.
Cyclone Club Luncheon

VPR Workshop: Updates, Initiatives, and Challenges at the National Science Foundation
Dr. Roger Wakimoto, program director at the Geosciences Directorate of the National Science Foundation (NSF), will discuss new NSF-wide initiatives for FY16, recent challenges working with Congress, the broader impacts criteria, reliability and reproducibility of scientific results, and updates regarding the Geosciences Directorate. The seminar is free and open to the public. No preregistration is required.
Lecture: Finding Your Path in the Shifting Scientific Workforce
Kendall Powell discusses the tough realities and statistics facing students and postdocs as they enter the scientific workforce and, specifically, the evolution of postdoctoral scholars in the United States.
Portal to the Public Information Session and Volunteer Training
This free training will introduce Reiman Gardens' involvement in Portal to the Public, a national network of informal science education (ISE) institutions whose goal is to bring the work of local scientists to the general public.
Wheel Pottery Class
Students will be guided through all aspects of forming bowls, mugs, vases and more on the pottery wheel.
Documentary & Discussion: Homeless Teens & the Struggle to Stay in School
Screening of "The Homestretch," which follows three homeless teens as they fight to stay in school, graduate, and make the crucial transition to independence when the structure of school vanishes.
