CODAC Spring Sale - Day 2
Sale of work by students in integrated studio arts/integrated visual arts and members of the College of Design Art Club (CODAC). Profits up to $1,500 will be donated to the SHOP food pantry on campus. The sale will take place outdoors under the overhang at the front entrance to the College of Design. Tables will be spaced 6 feet apart, with a separate table for payment and packing.
Prep Week: Simple yoga
Recreation Services staff introduce simple, low impact yoga techniques, which relax the body and calm the mind. Face coverings required. Rain location: Parks Library upper rotunda.
Town Hall for faculty and staff
Senior leaders will share information and respond to questions about employees' return to campus workspaces and preparation for a fall semester that's as close to pre-pandemic "normal" as possible.

Retirement reception: Donald Simonson
After 43 years of service to Iowa State University, music and theatre department chair Donald Simonson will retire at the end of June.
PLUSH Interdisciplinary Studio Exhibition
Join students from architecture assistant professor Shelby Doyle's spring 3D Printing & Casting studio course to celebrate this outdoor exhibition of soft formworks, a culmination of the students' research, testing and design of concrete casting workflows. Visitors are invited to engage with the work first hand, touching the objects and moving through the space to experience its fascinating qualities.

A "crash course" workshop for anyone who has ever considered starting a business. You will learn various topics such as insurance, intellectual property, business organization, registration and operations. Topics will be presented by local business professionals. Register for one or both sessions. Participation is limited to 40 spots; social distancing and face coverings required.

Department of Defense Grantsmanship Workshop with Hanover Research
Sarah Ott, Senior Grants Consultant with Hanover Research, will guide participants through external funding opportunities available through the Department of Defense (DoD). The workshop will focus on the major DoD research interests, selecting an appropriate DoD target, how to contact and engage a DoD program manager, and general guidance on the submission and review of DoD pre-proposals.
