Mid-Century Modern for Designed Interiors
A completely new style of taste, fashion, and life occurred from 1945 through the 1960s and nowhere was it more visible than in the design and decoration of the home. Collin Powell, graduate student in Interior Design, will use the current exhibition to revisit the ideological basis of this period that has grown in memory and popularity with today's designers and consumers.

For fans of: Oh Honey, The Lone Bellow, Penny and Sparrow Known for their harmony-laced take on alt-folk, The Hunts are a Chesapeake, Virginia-based band of seven siblings who've been playing music together almost their entire lives. Inspired by shared memories, The Hunts have created songs that capture heartache and wonder with a wide-eyed but wistful elegance.

Walk-in Argentine Tango
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4-5pm, moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for better dancing. From 5-7pm, the floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie Williams, and for working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.

CANCELLED The Art of Historic Renovation and Cultural Preservation
This program has been cancelled due to staff illness. It will not be rescheduled. Join University Museums for a new series of tours focused on the renovation and preservation stories of the most iconic and historic locations on campus. The interior of Curtiss Hall has changed immensely in the last five years. The entire building has been renovated and transformed into a signature point of pride for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
