Auditions: Metropolitan Opera National Council, Iowa district
Nearly 30 up-and-coming opera singers from as far as San Francisco and as near as Marshalltown will compete in the Iowa district for the chance to advance in this "sing-off" competition. Iowa is one of 41 districts in the United States and Canada. The public is welcome to attend some or all of the auditions, and to meet the contestants during a reception afterward.
