Cherry Blossom Project for Japan
Students, faculty and staff are invited to help fill an image of a bare Japanese flowering cherry tree with cherry blossom stickers and write messages of hope and caring to the people of Japan. Cost is $1 for 5 stickers. Proceeds will go to the Red Cross. Sponsored by the Graphic Design Student Association.

Annual spring sale of work by students in the integrated studio arts program, sponsored by CODAC (College of Design Art Club). Most items priced in the range of $10 - $100. Some proceeds go to the artists, while the rest help fund club activities.

Object Lessons
Art is a response to the world and environment of the artist but is also used as inspiration for other types of creative expression. Materials will be provided for you to draw or write in creative response to the current exhibitions at the Brunnier Art Museum. ISU ADVANCE: Looking back and looking forward

Memorial Service: Jim Hopson
Hopson, who served as executive director of the ISU alumni association from 1979 to 1999, died of congestive heart failure Jan. 24 in Sun City, Ariz. He was 71. The ceremony will include a program with remembrances of Hopson and his many years of service to Iowa State. The public is welcome.
