Vienna Boys Choir
The world-famous Vienna Boys Choir is among the oldest of all musical organizations, having been founded pursuant to an imperial decree of Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian I in 1498. These young cultural ambassadors continue to be adored for their wide range of repertoire, purity of tone, and generosity of musical spirit. The Vienna Boys Choir will celebrate the magic of the holiday season with Austrian folk songs, classical masterpieces and more!

Lecture: When the 'Water Prince' Brought an Iceberg to Iowa
"Muhammad bin Faisal's Frozen Fantasies of Antarctic Arabia," Michael Christopher Low, assistant professor, history. By retelling the story of the "water prince," this lecture will remember one of the more colorful episodes in Iowa State's history and explore the tangled histories of oil, desalination, and climate change and adaptation in the Arabian Peninsula. This lecture is held in conjunction with the ReACT Gallery exhibition exploring water.

Interpreting the State Capitol
The prints of Real and Imagined Aspects of the State Capitol Building combine a legendary local landmark with fanciful characters and perspectives and have become among Worthen's most well-known. Joan Arnett, Capitol Tour Guide Supervisor, will share the history of this 19th century Iowa building surrounded by the imaginative prints of Amy Worthen.
