Registration begins for freshmen: Summer 2015, Fall 2015
First day of assigned Summer 2015 and Fall 2015 registration dates for students continuing as freshmen. Hours for AccessPlus registration are 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., Monday--Saturday, and most Sundays.
Health Screenings
Students in kinesiology's HS380 class will conduct free health screenings (blood pressure and body composition) on April 13, 14 and 15.
Symposium: Interlocking the Pieces for Global Food Security
"Interlocking The Pieces For Global Food Security." Three sessions are planned to include topics on nutrition; capacity building/education; private/public partnerships and entrepreneurship; and production environments -- seeds, soil and water.
Symposium: Undergraduate research and creative expression
A day-long celebration of undergraduate research that brings students from all academic disciplines together to share their work with the university community, families and guests in a conference-style environment. Participation is open to any ISU undergraduate involved in mentored research.

Meet Elizabeth Martinez-Podolsky, undergraduate retention specialist in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences' student services office. She will act as the CALS multicultural liaison officer and provide programming for a broad range of student interests including undergraduate multicultural, adult, LGBT, veteran and military students.
Class: Beginner Photography
This is a 4 week course on Tuesdays beginning April 7, April 14, April 21, & April 28 from 6:00-8:30 p.m. This 4-part workshop covers the basics of photography including equipment & how to use it, depth of field, aperture, light, composition, finding your subject & tips & tricks. Each class is broken into 3 parts: classroom discussion, hands-on practice taking pictures by the students & review. Bring your DSLR camera & tripod to each class.
Workshop: Perfume Blending Intensive
This is a 6 week course on Tuesdays April 7, April 14, April 21, April 28, May 5, & May 12 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Those who complete this 6-week intensive workshop will leave with their own uniquely developed fragrance, 1 kit of 10 essences, & a Certificate of Perfume Blending from Amanda Feeley, natural perfumer & owner of Esscentual Alchemy. Amanda will teach you the background, skills, & preparation you'll need to become a natural perfumer.

Open Mic Night
Open mic night gives students the chance to show off their talents to their fellow students. Many are musicians, comedians, and poets. So come on out and show us what kind of talents you have. (Sign Up starts at 7:30 p.m. until all spots are filled)
