Phoenix-based "visual wizard" Timmy Ham spreads positivity and inspiration through design and adventure. Watch a live demonstration as he creates a street art-inspired mural to commemorate First Amendment Days 2019. Students can express themselves on a chalkboard wall under the tent. A Q&A session is planned when the art is revealed at 2:30 p.m. Part of the First Amendment Days celebration.

Experiment with etching, pixie dust, and baking soda to produce a variety of effects including pearl finishes and beach glass looks. Students must complete a beginning glass beads class (4 week or one day intensive) before taking this workshop. Supply fee includes glass for class time only, and propane/MAPP is available for purchase if needed. Free week includes use of tools but no supplies.

Cyclone Voice is a singing competition that highlights the vocal talents of Iowa State students. This year's finale will be hosted by country singer Mason Ramsey, who gained fame with viral video of his yodeling. Ramsey will host the annual singing competition, introducing the show and each of the student performers. He will also perform a short music set during the judge's deliberations, before the 2019 Cyclone Voice winner is announced.
