Kenny Bollenbaugh, supervisor for plant services (electrical/mechanical maintenance) in facilities planning and management, is retiring Feb. 4. A program will begin at 2 p.m.
Dale Meyer, engineering technician with Ames Laboratory, is retiring.

John Flickinger, budget officer for ISU Extension and Outreach, is retiring from Iowa State on Feb. 7 after 27 years of service. He started with the university in 1987 and began working in extension in 1993. A short presentation will begin at 3:15 p.m.
The P&S Council is a representative body elected by, and responsible to, Professional and Scientific employees at Iowa State University. Meetings are open to the public.
The "Creating Global Understanding: World Languages and Cultures and University Museums" exhibition takes a unique collaborative curatorial approach and includes many voices in its works of art and interpretations.

"Collegiate Fashion & Activism: Black Women's Styles on the College Campus," with a focus on black women's everyday clothing and its connection to black student empowerment on Iowa college campuses. The reception includes a curator talk with graduate student Dyese Matthews and assistant professor Kelly Reddy-Best, both from the apparel, merchandising and design program. The exhibit runs through April 17.

Dean of students Vernon Hurte is leaving Iowa State to become vice president of student affairs at Towson University. A short program will begin at 3:30 p.m.
The Faculty Senate represents the general faculty of Iowa State and participates in shared governance of the University with the administration. Senate meetings are open to the public.

Reception and artist's talk for a solo exhibition by Christian D'Cruz, senior in graphic design, on display Feb. 10-14 in Gallery 181. The show includes mixed-media paintings, experiential monitor displays, a mural and projections created in 2019-2020, as well as a collaborative painting with renowned artist and ISU alumnus Chris Vance (BFA 2000 Visual Studies).
