Youth Matinee Series: Die Fledermaus
Prince Orlovsky is throwing the party of the season and everyone from the chambermaids on up wants a ticket. Eisenstein, Rosalinde and the entire household find themselves thrown into confusion and chaos in this madcap mistaken-identity romp through 1870s Vienna. Fully staged operetta with orchestra presented by ISU Theatre, ISU Opera Studio, and ISU Symphony Orchestra.
Paint Your Own Pottery: Give Back Week
Bring in a non-perishable food in exchange for $5 off pottery painting. Donations will be delivered to the SHOP (Students Helping Our Peers), a student-run, on-campus food pantry. Their mission is to engage with anti-hunger advocates and serve the student population by increasing hunger awareness and food security. Information about SHOP and how to get involved will be available.
Exhibition Reception: New Perspectives in Graphic Design
Four Iowa State graphic design graduate students will present their MFA thesis work in the "New Perspectives in Graphic Design - MFA Thesis Exhibitions" from Nov. 6-14 in the College of Design's Gallery 181. Graduate students with work in the show include Lucy Hiegata, Emily Hodges, Mira Jung and Grace Lee. An opening reception will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, in the gallery. All are invited to attend.
