Adel A. Zakaria, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Engineering and Manufacturing, Global Agricultural Tractor and
Implement Sourcing, Deere & Company. Since 1995, Adel A. Zakaria has been responsible for leading and directing the
Worldwide Engineering and Manufacturing Equipment Division for John Deere's agricultural equipment. A native of
Cairo, Egypt, Zakaria joined Deere & Company as a staff engineer in 1976. Within Deere, Zakaria has held the
positions of Vice President of Agricultural Equipment Division and Director of Engineering Diesel Engines and has
developed a worldwide engineering group that adopted a common engine design across North America and Europe. Part of
