Reiman Gardens' CoHorts are having a party alongside the annual plant sale - thus the Root Ball - a memorable name for a memorable event. The goal is to raise an additional $5,000 for Reiman Gardens.
Mark your calendars for Friday night, August 28. Early bird shopping of plant sale material, a rare plant auction, tastings of locally grown foods, music, dancing and a cash bar can be had all for only $15 per person.
To reach the $5,000 goal, CoHorts will be seeking larger donations - to mark the Gardens' 15 year anniversary - but are keeping the price low to encourage participation by as many members as possible.
There will not be a meal with this event, but rather Jon Reutter of Minnie's Garden Grilling will be preparing appetizers so guests can graze to the music of vocalist, Melanie Wright, with dancing from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
