Cultural awareness through food, fun and entertainment, including the Ames Children's Choir, Mirage Middle Eastern dance troupe, Cyclone Ballroom and the Asian Pacific American Awareness Coalition.

This event is the winning proposal from the iChooseDiversity competition, a business plan competition sponsored by Cargill where business students submitted proposals for diversity initiatives at ISU. Funded by Cargill.

The goal of the festival is to increase cultural awareness and acceptance at ISU and throughout Ames by:
-- Giving Ames students and community members a chance to learn about different cultures
-- Increase enthusiasm for locally owned ethnic-based restaurants
-- Increase participation in local diverse clubs and organizations
