To determine what additional items can be recycled through campus recycling programs, a sort of a sample of ISU's garbage will be completed. Volunteers are needed to assist in separating recyclables, weighing and documenting recyclable quantities, and bagging recyclables for processing. The information collected will be included in a report presented to President Geoffroy.

Volunteers can pre-register or show up on site between 8 a.m and 5 p.m. ISU students, staff, faculty, and members of the Ames community are invited to participate. Gloves and protective outerwear will be provided. Closed toe shoes required. Volunteers should wear clothing suitable for sorting waste. Go to the links below for more information and to download a liability waiver.
