James Ehlers, visiting artist at ISU, will teach a printmaking engraving workshop open to 20 participants. Register now.

James Ehlers, the Don & Mary Glaser Distinguished Professor of Engraving Arts at Emporia State University, is a visiting artist at Iowa State University Feb. 3-5, 2010. He will teach a printmaking engraving workshop from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, in the printmaking studio, 011 College of Design. The $12 fee pays for 1 copper plate and lunch; burins may be borrowed from the workshop, and participants may purchase the burin they use.

Include your email address and phone number, and Katz will contact you to confirm your registration once she has received payment. Her office is 097 Design or campus mail address is 158 Design.

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, with openings for up to 20 participants.

(Printing will take place during University Print Society meetings on Wednesday evenings following the workshop. Ink will be provided; participants will supply their own paper.)
