The end of winter is finally in sight and on Saturday, March 27th, Reiman Gardens celebrates by hosting Spring Fling. This family event will include our annual egg hunt, where every child can search for a colorful egg to trade in for a Spring Fling Goodie Bag.
Enjoy children's craft stations and pet live rabbits. New this year are face-painting and cookie decorating booths and a photo station, where your little one can pose with either our Reiman Gardens "Spring Bunny" OR with a live bunny on their lap, creating a family keepsake.
Hours for this event are 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. Cost is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors. Children, Reiman Gardens CoHorts' members and Iowa State University students are free.
The egg hunt for children up through age 4 begins at 1:30 p.m. and children between the ages of 5 - 10 may hunt eggs starting at 2:00 p.m. Pre-registration for this free event is encouraged, as usually several hundred children participate - please call 515-294-2710
