"Uncertainty and Sensitivity Analysis for Models Used in Crop Science." David Makowski, INRA, France

Dr. Makowski's talk will be about methods for analyzing uncertainty of models used in crop science. In the first part of the talk, he will present the different sources of uncertainty in a model and explain why it is important to analyze them. In the second part, he will describe several methods to analyze uncertainty and to compute sensitivity indices. Dr. Makowski will show how to implement these methods with the statistical software R and, finally, present a case study.

Lunch provided after seminar. Please confirm attendance. RSVP to Laila Puntel (
