"Implications on Policy Studies on Teen Dating Violence," Alysa Mozak, ISU women's studies graduate student. Media, policymakers and researchers are increasingly recognizing teen dating violence (TDV) as a social problem. This study of TDV in Iowa will help inform researchers and policymakers about this important issue.

The study provides an overview of the social issue of teen dating violence (TDV), examines statistics from agencies such as the Center for Disease Control, local domestic violence shelters and law enforcement agencies; demonstrates the scope of the issue to the need for changes and studies the rhetoric used behind the movement of intimate partner violence over the decades to see how it has shaped legislative and social arenas.
