Their high-energy concert will take you on a musical
journey to their native Ireland with a glorious mix of ancient Irish music and new repertoire. Danú's virtuoso players on flute, tin whistle, fiddle, button accordion and bouzouki mesh perfectly with vocals in Irish and English.
Danú performs Irish traditional music with a skill and sizzle Irish Music Magazine says "stirs the blood and lifts the heart."
The band was named "Best Group" at the prestigious BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2004, a title they also won in 2001. At the Irish Music Awards they were named "Best Overall Traditional Irish Band."
