The In•Site Research Group at ISU's College of Design undertake research to design and evaluate a social educational experience for children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Join Debra Satterfield, program director in Graphic Design and member of the In•Site Research Group, as she shares the ongoing investigations of this research.

This play experience, called Play•IT, seeks to create a collaborative learning environment that allows a child with ASD and a typical child to play together in ways that are socially, emotionally, behaviorally and motivationally appropriate for both children.

This talk is part of University Museums' See, Think, Know program series.
