Iowa State alumnus Paul Giroux has worked for Kiewit Corporation on a wide variety of civil engineering mega projects throughout the United States, including Baltimore's Fort McHenry Tunnel, several hydroelectric projects, Boston's Central Artery Tunnel and, most recently, the San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge Skyway. He received his BS in construction engineering from Iowa State in 1979.

Paul Giroux is currently serving as the American Society of Civil Engineers chairman for the Golden Gate Bridge 75th Anniversary event in May 2012. He has also been a featured speaker at the Hoover Dam 75th Anniversary Symposium in Las Vegas and chairman and featured speaker for the Brooklyn Bridge 125th Anniversary event. He received his BS in construction engineering from Iowa State University in 1979. He is currently the District Quality Manager for Kiewit Infrastructure West Co.
