Chris Guillard, a founding partner of CMG (Conger Moss Guillard Landscape Architecture) in San Francisco, will present the 2012 P. H. Elwood Lecture in Landscape Architecture.

Chris Guillard, a founding partner of CMG (Conger Moss Guillard Landscape Architecture) in San Francisco, is an accomplished designer who creates public landscapes of all types and scales. His work and research focus on the value of public open space and urban landscapes that integrate multiple functions into communities.

Guillard serves on the board of the Neighborhood Parks Council, a San Francisco-based nonprofit organization that advocates for superior, equitable and sustainable park and recreation systems. In 2000, he received the outstanding alumni award from the College of Architecture and Urban Studies at Virginia Tech.

Guillard received a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree with honors from Virginia Tech in 1994.
