Holly Falk-Krzesinski will discuss empirical research findings about team science and help translate those findings into effective practices for the scientific collaborators and funders of team science. She is a research assistant professor and the director of Research Team Support & Development at the Northwestern University Clinical and Translational Science (NUCATS) Institute.

Holly Falk-Krzesinski has assisted with numerous multi-disciplinary, team-oriented research initiatives, from structural genomics of infectious diseases to art history to cancer nanotechnology to bioenergy. She has helped secure more than $140M in collaborative federal grants and contracts.

Holly Falk-Krzesinski's is a recognized expert on research networking tools within the CTSA Consortium and has been an active member of the Informatics KFC Research Networking Tool Affinity Group. In 2008 she launched a national network of research development professionals, which evolved into the National Organization of Research Development Professionals (NORDP). She earned a PhD in microbiology from Loyola University-Stritch School of Medicine.
