Learn how to create a book and fill it with image transfers using acrylic mediums.

Books bound with hard covers date back to the 5th century, with pages made from parchment folded and sewn on to strong cords or ligaments attached to wooden boards and covered with leather. Explore this historical technique and fill the pages with image transfers using acrylic mediums - a process you can also use in painting, sculpture, collage and mixed media. A variety of skills and techniques are packed into this class!

Tuesdays beginning July 10, 6:30-8:30 pm for 3 weeks.
